To improve the integrity of the Working Holiday program, the department is strengthening checks of Working Holiday visa applications. This includes seeking further information from applicants and, where necessary, their employers to verify evidence provided in support of a visa application. Contacting third parties to verify the claims of applicants for second Working Holiday visas will now be a standard component of second Working Holiday visa application assessments.
